The gospel of Luke

I should have been called Luke
because that’s how warm I am.
If there’s a fence to be sat on
you fill find my behind right there,
tepidly behind an uncertain position.

I see both sides, because there are
two sides, to all things. I think.
Or maybe not. I’m even undecided
About the nature of indecision.

Mind you, let’s not deify decisiveness.
There is much to be said for dither.
Shame that Hitler was not more unsure of things.
Or Stalin,
Mao,
Pol Pot,
Farage.
